"Embroidery: everything takes shape at your fingertips"

I have always been surrounded by fabrics, threads and needles since my childhood. My mother was a seamstress and my grandmother was an embroiderer.

After studying marketing in Singapore and working in the field for several years, I wanted to go back to what I am passionate about: the world of thread and creativity. In 2017, I decided to resume learning different embroidery techniques and hence trained through internships, workshops and courses in traditional embroidery and Lunéville (haute couture).

First, I honed my skills in traditional embroidery with Marie-Pierre Garcin Théus in Geneva. Intrigued by Lunéville embroidery, I learned the technique from Pascal Jaouen. Captivated by this form of embroidery, which combines supplies and art, I trained for a year at the Lesage School in Paris, specialising in Haute couture embroidery at a professional level.

Since then, I have been constantly recreating the colours and images that have marked me since my childhood on my native island, Mauritius. It is a source of inspiration for my creations, so it is only natural that you will find or discover sites of the island and Mauritus's fauna and flora in my embroideries work.

Mon objectif est aujourd’hui de transmettre ce savoir-faire au travers de mes ateliers et expositions. J’espère avoir l’occasion de partager avec vous le plaisir de la broderie et vous faire découvrir en même temps mon île.
